Acalympics

Acalympics is an academic competition consisting of a junior and senior high division of 6 students on each team.  There are five categories:  math, science, English, social studies, current events, and a lightening round.  A moderator reads each question aloud and teams are given 60 seconds spell correctly their answer using a small typing device called ActiveExpression.

Ashley teams are chosen by the high school staff and based upon a student’s knowledge of specific content areas, how well they work in a team, and what they can contribute in those academic areas. This year both teams took 3rd place in their division!!
