 Hello,
  I continue to be impressed with the energy and dedication of those that I have met in the school system and in the Ashley community. Education is the priority, as it should be. We can’t lose our focus from that priority. I pledge my commitment to the children of this school and community and those in surrounding communities that we impact.
I am originally from Fullerton, ND to the east. I am glad to be near those home roots! I’m a graduate of Valley City State with a degree in education majoring in history and minoring in English. I graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1998 with a master’s degree in school leadership. I have 15 years of administration experience and 14 years previous to that as a teacher.
Please feel free to contact me regarding any issue, I am an open door administrator and if I don’t have the answers, I will get them or steer you to the person you should be talking with to get those answers.  I am excited this year to have added courses at the high school and added a new sign out front for increased communication.  A new laptop cart will add to the school’s access to computers in each classroom.  The renovations to the science lab should be done by mid-September and it has been long overdue…Mr. Spiedel and his students are excited to experience this new lab.
It is all about educating our children; preparing them for life in a competitive world. It is about community, our school is a small community within a larger community. Our commitments as a community must put our young people at the top of the list.
